FAQ

Where do I sign in?

Use Log in in the website header and choose the edition:

  • Personal: app.geotwin.cc or app.geotwin.cn
  • Enterprise: server.geotwin.cc or server.geotwin.cn

The enterprise entry is the platform server; the personal entry opens the personal workspace. Ask your administrator which one your account belongs to.

Which browsers are supported?

Use a current version of Chrome, Edge or Safari. WebGL must be enabled for the 3D scene editor and the viewer. If the scene is blank, check the browser's hardware acceleration setting first.

I uploaded data but cannot see it

Check, in order:

  1. The data was published as a service, not only uploaded.
  2. The service is authorised for your account.
  3. The scene or application references the correct service.
  4. The coordinate system and height offset are correct.

Which ports should be open?

Publish the web entry on 443 and redirect 80 to 443. Keep database, object storage and internal service ports on the private network. Open only the API and cloud-rendering ports that your deployment uses.

How do I update the platform?

Updates are delivered as appliance packages or server packages. Back up the database and file storage first, update during a maintenance window, then verify login, one service and one scene. See Deployment.

Why can another user not open my scene?

Scenes do not grant access to the services they use. The other user needs permission on both the scene and the underlying services. Check project membership and role before sharing a link.

Where do I find the SDK and API docs?

Start with Development. The Viewer, Scene, CompositeViewer, PanoramaViewer and NodeData pages document the main APIs. For package access and version compatibility, contact your GeoTwin project contact.

How do I add a release note?

Open the Release notes page, copy the template row and add it at the top of the table. Update both the English and Chinese pages when the change applies to both.
